Before Kaelyn arrived we were afraid that Obie wouldn't be very good with a baby in the house. I never thought that he would hurt Kaelyn, but I figured he'd start marking the house or whatever. He's been great! Many times he'll jump up on us if we're holding Kaelyn and he hasn't seen her for awhile. She's starting to grab his fur which he's learning that it hurts him a little so once he sees her hand come up he moves. After I get home from work I play with Kaelyn on the floor and I throw Obie one of his toys. She will sit with me for about 20-30 minutes and watch Obie run back and forth. If Kaelyn is acting upset I've used Obie to calm her down by leaning down next to him with her in my arms. She spends a lot of time watching and studying him. It's super cute!!
