I got to get out of work at 4:00 today rather than 5:00 because myself and another girl were not able to take a lunch. The entire department was gone doing some bank business poop so me and another girl were not able to leave for lunch because that would leave the other person alone. SOOOO.... when everyone finally got back at 3:00 we were told it'd be okay to leave at 4:00! LOVE IT!
Avon is in tomorrow! I can't wait! I have quite a bit of stuff to go through this time.

Bowling
I went bowling today with some people from work. We were bowling for Big Brothers Big Sisters. There was a huge event going on at Family Fun Lanes. There were some other teams from MMB as well as other local businesses. One of the ladies on my team had never bowled before and she ended up doing the BEST! It was funny! We had a great time and I got a free t-shirt and a free bottle of water (free is free!!). =o)
Monday I put in my second Avon order! It's looking even better than the first order! Now, I'm afraid of the third order because I've hit most everyone up for orders except a couple. We'll see how it goes... I got some true Avon fans that'll purchase something when I need them too!
Tim is scooting off to jam for a little while this afternoon. I got a shelf I need to put together and I'll probably do a little cleaning. Some alone time for a few hours will be nice.

Sleepin' on the job!
Today was a boring day. The department got lunch because we tied in loan volume for the month of February with Bangor Savings (our #1 rival!). So, to "celebrate" we got free lunch from the Whig! YUM!!! I can eat Pub Subs EVERYDAY!! =) LOVE'M! ANYWAY... I ate my lunch at my desk while I worked, than actually left around 2:00 for my break (long story as to why I took it late). So I ran out and did an errand than I still had like 45 minutes before I had to be back so I came home. I was getting a headache so I took some Excedrin Migraine and decided to lay down a few minutes. I NEVER fall asleep on my break... even if I want to I can't because my body knows I have to be back to work soon. Well, I fell asleep around 2:35 and had to be back by 3:00!! I slept until 3:30!!! I wake up and jump off the couch, look at the clock and I just couldn't seem to register I was 30 minutes late. I go to the bathroom, go to the kitchen and look at the clock again, I'm like wait a minute... so I look at my watch, then I go back into the living room and look at the stereo clock (digital) and I'm like OH SHIT! I call work and Olivia is like "what are you doing" I'm like "I just woke up, I'm leaving right now!!" Of course, everyone at work laughs at me - thank God I work at a place where people don't get mad about stuff like that. Needless to stay the hour nap and the Excedrin took my headache away! =o) Maybe it was worth it. I was so out of it when I got back to work... I just hadn't properly woken up. Nobody really noticed I was gone until one of the girls was like "where's Kristie" and that was only a couple minutes before I called. Good day good day!

Sigh*
Work was more than miserable today - it was just completely wretched!! I know you all want to hear the dirty details, but I wouldn't really know how to explain it. The point is my "boss" has been switched to someone else. I've been working with this person since I started at the bank and from the beginning he was a difficult person to work with. BUT he brings a lot of business to the bank and is a high end brown noser! He ALWAYS talks to you in a condescending manner. And it just all seems so pointless with the merger coming up in about 6 months. I could go on about it forever! It's all just so frustrating!!! And by the end of the day I had 3 major paper cuts. This mean't 3 bandaids on 3 different finger tips - you'd swear I was trying to make a fashion statement or something.
On a good note: a lady I work with went through some of her jewelry and I am going to be selling it on Ebay for her! She insists on giving me a commission and as silly as it sounds I told her NO! I enjoy selling the stuff and it's not like she's going to make a lot of money off of what I'm listing. The stuff is old jewelry, but it's plastic and some is just cheap beads.
On a 2nd good note: I'm getting even more excited about Avon. I've got another interested person (Julie!) and that makes 16. I'm happy it's working out well so far. I'm going to keep plugging away at it and do the online trainings to learn more. At the moment I'm not making much of a profit because I'm ordering demonstration stuff. Eventually I'd like to have a small Avon party to give people a chance to look, smell and try some of the products. I'm also finding some of the sizes can be "slightly" misleading in the catalog. (I'm the honest Avon Lady haha!) I want a chance to SEE the product so I can tell people what .08fl oz REALLY looks like!

Another Party .... stressful party!!
I love being a party planner, I loved getting the apartment decorated and buying lots of food... blah blah blah! But once everyone is here I practically had a panic attack! I just worry something will go wrong or not everyone will be happy with the food selection. My Mom and my Sister kept saying "calm down, everything is going fine".
Soooo... yes we all had a good time. There were no major problems. I did end up taking some Excedrin Migraine to prevent a headache from hell!! I am happy it's over. I feel like the weekend flew by! I could use another day off to just regroup.
Although, it all turned out great! Gramp was very surprised - he was speechless! =o) We had Bulkie Roll Sandwiches, chips, potato salad, fruit salad, veggies, crackers & cheese, and deviled eggs. It turned out to be more then enough!!
Spencer, my cousin, was kept busy with some SpongeBob - chillin back in Tim's famous blue chair. It's a hit with kids under the age of 5! Sean wasn't interested in sitting in it, he would just beat it up! haha - which I have to say can be pretty entertaining.

Happy Saint Patrick's Day!!
Tonight Tim and I went to Colleen and Rick's for a little partay. Colleen's birthday is Monday so it was a Birthday Party slash Saint Patrick's Day Party (that was the theme with a little cake involved!) These gatherings bring out the weirdest conversations: peoples sex lives, who can and can not cut the bread, haunted houses (yes, Julie and Jerry's house is haunted!!), fear of the dentist - to the point SOMEONE needed to take Valium and others would just prefer to go through childbirth again, and the topic of childbirth brought us into a quick replay of whose childbirth was worse. If you couldn't already tell it was a great night and we had a super time!!

The cake gave quite a fight! The k-nife was handed down to Tim who eventually conquered the cake!! It was very cakeilicious!!

Tomorrow will be the second party of the weekend. Gramp still doesn't know what is going on. We have a lie all in place to trick him into coming up to Bangor (my grandparents live on Verona Island)! I'll be excited to order my photos and have some new things to scrap! It'll mean another adventure to ACMoore - where I've heard they have some new stuff in!! YAY!!

Avon's In!!!

YAY! It only took 3 days to get here - that's great! It was fun to go through the stuff. I got myself some new lipgloss that I really really like! I'm anxious to deliver everything. I think I'm going to enjoy selling Avon! People seem to be excited about their products - which was kinda funny to me at first! =) I think my second order should turn out even better then the first.
Tim went to bed at 8:00 tonight. He had to go into work at 4:00ish this morning ... I'm not sure I was sleeping when he left haha! Now I'm bored because I have nobody to talk to and there is nothing on TV. The stupid NCAA crap is on which is ruining channel 5! Also meaning it ruined my Ghost Whisperer at 8:00! O well, I guess I could just go to bed early too and get up early when he does. I need to get some food tomorrow for Gramp's Birthday Party on Sunday and I need to run to Home Depot to get him a gift card. I know the weather will be crap, but I ain't afraid!

Party Weekend!
I think it's a Birthday Party weekend! Saturday night Tim and I are going to Colleen's Birthday Party - which will be a "real" party considering the other party over this weekend is my Grandfather's 65th Surprise party. haha! My sister and I are planning a surprise birthday party for Gramp on Sunday (after church), if my Gram doesn't "slip". We're going to decorate my apartment, have lots of food, and of course CAKE! So - you know what Party Weekend means right? PICTURES! It's been awhile since I've had a good picture opportunity. My family will get sick of it, but Colleen's family/friends will not care! =o) YAY!

Wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii
THE Wii!!! It's so fun! My arm is sore from playing =o). Tim and I went over to Colleen and Rick's to do Tim's laundry and I took care of some Avon Lady business. Sean was asking me to play the Wii with him. So, eventually we all migrate to the living room and start playing some games. I played tennis, bowling, and some crazy mini games thing. It was really fun, they're even games that are fun to watch while other people play. Tim was hooked on getting one now I want one too! We're trying to be practical though - Tim's been doing a good job saving money and I'm continuing to plug away at saving. BUT, once and awhile you have to get something FUN or life would just be boring, right? I'm sure we'll discuss it at some point. We went grocery shopping afterwards and it seemed like the entire store was full of the incompetent retards from the Bangor area. Every time you turned around it was either someone just stopping in the middle of the isle or some kid (a.k.a. teenagers) thinking he owned the isle! And it was like entire families were shopping together today. Needless to say this put both Tim and I in a bad mood! We've vowed to NEVER shop on the weekend again!

Avon & Timmy's Home
Well, I've begun selling Avon. I think it might turn out okay. It won't be a huge money maker, but I think it'll still be fun! I've got 13 people who are interested. Hopefully I can get at least half to be regular customers and maybe the other half will at least be once-and-awhile customers. I figure once I get more into it I'll run across people who are interested - I already found a few by accident. Timmy came home yesterday! YAY! I missed him very much. ALTHOUGH, I had to admit I slept way better without him! He's such a bed hog! And to give you an example of how close he sleeps to me: last night he was attempting to move over (closer to me of course) and he slammed his head into my head! HELLO my head is on MY pillow! It's not even the first time it's happened. The last time was even worse because it actually really hurt!! The weird thing is when he's moving over he's awake, but doesn't open his eyes!! He just moves around so much and doesn't realize where he's located on the bed. I've threatened to get separate beds! =)

Home Alone
Tim is gone for a couple nights. His job asked him to work at the Westbrook Freightliner Tues-Thurs. He left early this morning and will return Thursday about 5:00. They put him up in a hotel (Super 8 haha) and are paying for his meals. I just talked with him and he said today was SO BORING and has no idea why they need the extra help, but whatever. He brought his playstation and his guitar so it'll be just like home minus ME! =o) So tonight I'm going to do some dishes - I haven't done dishes in months, but I feel like being nice while Tim is gone. =o) And I'm going to be heading over to the gym with Karen. I wanted to run out and do a load of laundry, but I decided to limit my trips out because it's damn cold! I just talked to Karen and she said there is a wind advisory for tonight! I've got to get myself together and scoot out into this brisk evening!

I wanna help!
Lately I've been so caught up in trying to help others, but don't know HOW to help others. I don't mean in the "individual" sense. For instance, I'm doing the Walk for MS and I'm trying to raise money for the MS Society. It's really important to me because my Mom has MS. So I've gotten pretty caught up in that. And now I'm getting caught up in helping get stuff for the homeless shelter. I pass it everyday at least twice a day! And they had an article in the weekend paper about the Shelter... blah blah blah! So I called today and asked what kinds of things they need for the shelter and they said "everything". The lady told me that they don't only help the people while they're "homeless", but they also try and help them when they get into an apartment and back on their feet. Now, I don't know how to help! With the MS Walk I sent out an email at work to about 12 people and hope I'll get a good response (2 people have donated so far on top of the 2 donations I've already received). I can't send ANOTHER e-mail to people at work to help the Homeless Shelter. So how do I get the word out? How do I get people to help me? And why would anyone who doesn't know me support me? Helping others is important to me! I enjoy doing it - it makes me feel good! I know I don't have a lot of money to spare, but I feel I should do something.

...I be up in the gym just workin' on my fitness!
Back to the gym I went today! It's been 3 weeks if not more since I've been. I need to watch my weight! No, I am not over-weight! I have high blood pressure (hereditary!), high cholesterol and diabetes also run in my family which I don't have YET. I also like going to the gym because it helps with my "stress" level - which has an effect on my blood pressure, it all just goes hand in hand. I'm a mess! =o) And I'm not even 25! The gym I go to has tanning for an extra $4 a month (way cheap) and I'd like to be tan before summer hits. Tan with a tight bod - haht! While I was stretching after working on the treadmill I already felt a positive energy building inside me. It's a good feeling to get your heart rate up and know you're doing something good for yourself. Now I just need to keep it in my routine.

Happy March!
One of the darkest and longest months of the year and the first day is over. This means just another 20 more days and we can officially say winter is over! BUT FIRST, a storm - a wonderul, happy storm. I hope this happy storm brings along an MMB cancelation. It's funny to work for a place that will close early for a storm. I sit at my desk waiting for the e-mail to come through that says we're closing at such n' such a time because they want their employees to get home safely! Me, I live 1/2 mile down the road! haha. It would be nice though to start the weekend early - not that I have any serious plans!
Well, Karen and I are doing some planning for my grandfathers 65th birthday party in a couple of weeks. He HATES gatherings for his birthday so we're going to make it a surpise. He's a real good sport so he'll have a good time even though he'd prefer nobody even mentioned that it was his birthday. It's hard to pull a surprise over on him - one reason being my grandmother is a miserable liar!
