not much going on
Not much has been going on. Still feeling unhappy about my job. I've been put on blood pressure medication and have also found out my potassium is low so I'm going a supplement for that. The 2 things could be related, but I won't know for sure until I'm taking the supplement. Tim's still loves riding his bike back and forth to work. It's only been a few weeks since he sold his car, but we haven't had any trouble sharing a vehicle. A 3 day weekend is coming up and I'm thinking we might go camping/hiking down to Camden Hills. Although, I've waited so long who knows if there is a camp spot open (again.. labor day weekend). Tim and I will be talking about that later (he's gone right now). I went down to Bucksport yesterday to visit a friend of mine. Her and her husband are building a house and we went to look at it. They have the basement in and the basic skeleton of the house up. I'm envious! The house is just 1 floor, but the basement is large so they plan to put a family room downstairs. Someday I'll have my house... just not within the next year!

Folk Festival
Spent a good part of the day yesterday at the folk festival. We had a great time! There was a lot of people there as usual. We went walked down around 11:45 and came back around 3:00 because it was SOO hot. Tim gets really uncomfortable when he gets hot and once he gets hot he can't cool down! He gets worked up about it which makes him more hot! So we can home and took an afternoon shower. Luckily our apartment stays pretty cool so we hung out for a couple of hours, I took a nap and then we headed back down. I had me some yummy kettle corn and Tim had about 3 strawberry smoothies. Around 9:00 it started to rain and than it poured! It was funny because it started so quickly and everyone was in a tizzy running around. Tim and I were suppose to meet some of our friends at one of the beer tents so we headed in that direction. Our friends end up calling us while we're on our way over and say they're leaving because of the rain. We decided to stay and listen to some reggae for awhile and headed home around 10:15. I don't think we're going to go down again today. We're doing laundry and we have to get some groceries and it's humid again.

just some stuff...
Not much going on the past few days. Work is work, no changes there. Since the wedding I've been on a i-wanna-get-married high. So I think we've actually agreed that we'd probably get married in about 2 years! Seriously. I told him that gives him a year to propose and then we'd have a year to plan the wedding. I've been so excited about it I've already been searching out wedding spots online. I'm sure this "early" planning will subside, but for the moment I'm going to sit and dream about how wonderful my wedding will be.

Obviously, I'm not planning on saying no, but I think this cartoon is funny!!!
Tomorrow night I'm going to visit my Dad. We're having a BBQ and I made some pumpkin chocolate chip cookies to bring along. YUM! I'm anxious for the folk festival. I can't wait for the kettle corn, it's SO good!

The Neal & Stratton Wedding
Tim and I went to Paul and Crystal's wedding yesterday. We had to drive to Rockland and than catch the ferry to Vinalhaven!! It's only a 15 mile ride, but it takes an hour and 15 minutes to get there! SLOW! It was a cute wedding. Things got screwed up because it was raining and it was suppose to be an outdoor wedding. Last minute they switched it to the chapel on the island.
It cleared up right around the time the ceremony was over. At least they got a chance to get some nice outdoor photos.
The harbor was packed with fishing/lobster boats!! Around the island of Vinalhaven there is an insane amount of lobster traps (you can see the thousands of buoys floating) and from just these traps they rake in millions of dollars worth of lobster!!!

Trip to AC Moore
It has definitely been quite some time since I'd ventured over to AC Moore, but I've been scrapping my camp pic's and I needed some new stuff so I went tonight. OH BOY they had lots of new stuff!!! Tim was with me so I had to make it a super fast trip - I scanned everything in 15 minutes when I really wanted to spend an hour! There wasn't much on sale so I didn't go crazy. I bought some paper, brads, paper flowers, stickers and RIBBON! Yeah, that's right RIBBON... not ribbon. When I scrapped at Colleen's the other day she introduced me to a beautiful box of RIBBON. In the past I hadn't really used much of it, but I think I really like it! There were some ribbons on sale. So I bought 4 to get my collection started. I enjoy scrapping with Colleen. She gives me lots of good ideas and I usually come away with some new techniques. I'm pretty happy with the way my camp scrap pages are coming out so far. I have some good pic's to pick through and my sister has some good pic's on her camera that she needs to get developed. Karen just recently got a digital camera so I've got to get her into scrapping!! =o)

Tomorrow's the BIG day
Tomorrow is test day (9am-4pm with an for hour lunch). At the moment I don't care, but I'm sure tomorrow I'll have at least a handful of poop attacks before I leave the house! (sometimes I can't help but be overly honest) I am excited I don't have to go into work... it's pretty sad that I'd rather spend the day taking a test than be at work.
Tim's gone to Jared's to hang out for a little while so I got some quiet Kristie time going on. I might do a little scrapping. Maybe study some more. I spent some time over the weekend doing a little job research with very little success. I'm starting to lean more and more towards becoming a paralegal. The more I think about it the more it makes sense that being a paralegal is a much better fit for me. Now, to find a job in the field is becoming a struggle - as it was when I graduated!

Clean clean clean clean!!!!!
Floors scrubbed, microwave cleaned, furniture dusted, refrigerator wiped down, bathroom cleaned from head to toe, rug vacuumed, weird dark spots on rug GONE! Now, it stinks of bleach and I hate to open the windows because it's so warm outside. Once Tim does the dishes this place will be beauty-full!
Tomorrow is "scrap day". The beginning of camp scrapping! Can't wait!!

Job Search
I'm having a hard time figuring out "what I want to be when I grow up". I can't seem to find what makes me happy. Yeah, I'm still "young", but I really want to start settling into a career. I don't have to necessarily find the exact place I'm going to work at for the next 50 years, but I do want to find my nitch. What do I excel at? What do I find rewarding? I can tell you right now it isn't sitting in my current position reading CNN.Com!!
Alright, I gotta hop in the shower and figure out dinner. Tomorrow is food day at work and I'm bringing blueberry crisp! YUM (i hope)!
Thanks for the Rockin' Cool Blogger award Colleen! Definitely an added bonus for the day!

Blah blah and so much more blah!
If you've ever read my blog before than you know I get headaches and some times migraines. I stayed home today and it has been miserable. Usually I sleep late (11-12) take a shower, eat something, and then veg out for awhile on the couch and by about 3:00 I'm feeling better. Well, today has been awful. I slept off and on until 2:00 and did the usual, but this headache is still hanging on. If I stay lied down than I don't feel bad, but I'm sick of laying (or is it lying, I never know how to use this word!) down. I got a netflix movie today If Only. First, let me admit that I LOVE girly sappy movies and "bad acting" never bothers me haha! THis movie probably could fit into this category perfectly, but I LOVED IT! I think I cried for like 20 minutes straight while watching it. I told Tim about it and he was pretty happy he didn't have to watch it with me. =o)
Speaking of Tim. We never ended up going to Texas Roadhouse last night, but we did go to Olive Garden. I had the best drink EVER - Wild Berry Bellinis. YUM YUM!! Alright, I've had enough sitting up... sigh*

Picture's and Birthday's
My camp pictures came in today! Most are pretty good, but there are a couple that I'm not all that happy with. I need to learn that when I crop pictures I need to crop them a little bigger than what I want because the pictures come back smaller than I originally wanted. And I had a white border added to the pictures so that cut some of them even smaller. I'm excited to start scrapping them! I'm going to add onto last years camp book.
Tomorrow is Tim's birthday, he'll be 29. I made some cupcakes tonight for him .. mmm! In the morning I'm going to get up a little early and make some breakfast for us. He doesn't know it yet so when he's in the shower I'm going to start cooking! =O) SURPRISE! Tomorrow night we're going out to the Texas Roadhouse for dinner (Tim's never been). We have a $25 gift card so there wasn't really any picking or choosing where to eat. I'm debating on letting them know it's his Birthday. I've heard it's pretty embarrassing and they make you say "YEE HAA" hahahaha!!! while you were a cowboy hate. Oh, God I'm going to LOL just thinking about it!

new cellphone
I bought a new cellphone the other day. I had my old one for at least 2 1/2 years (which seems to be a long time in the world of cellphones). I absolutely LOVE my old LG phone, it always came in no matter where I was, despite being dropped it worked fine and the battery always stayed charged. Although, recently I was having a little trouble getting VM's and sometimes I'd have a few VM's and the phone was showing I had none until I actually called my VM. Anyway, I got this new one and it's pretty great.

It's the Motorola KRZR...kind of a smaller version of the Razor. It plays MP3's and takes pictures - which my old phone didn't! I'm happy with my choice - I almost got a Blackberry. Then I realized - 1. It costs an additional $40 a month AND 2. I wouldn't possibly EVER need all the stuff that comes equipped in a Blackberry. I just wanted something that not many people have (at least many people I know have).
